Guest Intro / Interview
Ben Hobbins is CEO of ‘Lake Resources Group’ the company that manufactures IronClads lures. IronClads look, feel, and have the action of a traditional soft plastic lure, but they’re very different. Those differences earned them recognition as one of the Top 10 Greatest Inventions of 2009 in Popular Science magazine, an award rarely given to a product in the fishing industry.

Ben – welcome to the Fish Schtick. Before we find out what makes IronClads so special, tell us about your best trip to the water so far this year.
-          Explain what makes an IronClad different than a traditional soft plastic lure
-          Why is that important
-          What was it about them that impressed Popular Science?
-          Yeah, but do they work?
-          If they’re so tough, what about when we break the line? Don’t they stay in the environment forever?
-          What do you say to the biodegradable bait advocates? Aren’t you developing something like this?
-          How much do they cost?
-          Where can we get them?

Conservation
Ben – tell us about what happened to Lake Delton ?
What does Lake Delton mean to you, and to the region?
What has been done?
What still needs to be done?
How can people help?
