He’s one of the people who makes the Fly Fishing Film Tour possible, but he’s also on the road right now for Motiv Fishing. They’re a crew of adventurers who are filming their exploits in a series called Geofish. Thad is currently in the midst of an epic 8,000 mile fly fishing expedition from Oregon to the Yucatan Peninsula.

Eric’s experiences as a rookie fly fisherman convinced him that there was a need for a grassroots lifestyle fly fishing brand that spoke to those of us who were turned off by traditional fly fishing marketing. The concept was not only ahead of it’s time but developed a loyal following and brand presence that far exceeded its small collection of products. In 2007 a Reel Pure and Moldy Chum Vulcan mind meld was initiated resulting in a great partnership and an even better friendship.
