Two guests for the price of one today, and we’re exceedingly glad to have them with us. Charles Clover and Christopher Hird join the Fish Schtick today from Great Britain. Charles is a journalist and author, with a weekly column about environmental matters in the Sunday Times. He was Environment Editor of The Daily Telegraph, based in London, from 1988-2008. He has been elected national journalist of the year by the British Environment and Media Awards three times, in 1989, 1994 and 1996. His book, “The End of the Line: how over-fishing is changing the world and what we eat,” has been described as “The Inconvenient Truth of our Oceans.”

Fish Schtick Episode 31 – Aaron Adams – Bonefish & Tarpon Trust

You saw him in one of our Fish Schtick Video Shorts last year at the FFR Show. Dr. Aaron Adams is head of research for Bonefish & Tarpon Trust. He works to preserve inshore game fish like Bonefish, Tarpon, Snook and Permit from the mangroves to the marl flats. Aaron is a scientist, author, and avid fly angler who is helping recreational anglers make the connection between scientific research and what’s happening on the water. Working out of the Mote Marine Laboratory in Sarasota, Florida, Dr. Adams is publicizing issues – and the solutions – through projects like Pirates of the Flats airing now on ESPN 2.
