Andrew Bennett runs Deneki Outdoors, which operates fly fishing lodges in Alaska, British Columbia, the Bahamas and Chile. We’re going to get Andrew to unload some fish stories from some of the greatest destinations on the planet today, and we know he’s got them because we read ‘em every day.

Our guest today is Eric Rathbun founder of Reel Pure and partner in crime on Moldy Chum. Frustrated with the old school fly fishing attitude Eric launched Reel Pure for regular anglers with an irregular love for fly fishing. Eric’s experiences as a rookie fly fisherman convinced him that there was a need for a grassroots lifestyle fly fishing brand that spoke to those of us who were turned off by traditional fly fishing marketing. The concept was not only ahead of it’s time but developed a loyal following and brand presence that far exceeded its small collection of products. In 2007 a Reel Pure and Moldy Chum Vulcan mind meld was initiated resulting in a great partnership and an even better friendship.
