The Moffitt Angling booth was packed the entire show, and for good reason. This is a significantly different innovation in fly fishing than has been seen for years. It’s been getting all kinds of buzz over the past year in the blogosphere and on fly fishing message boards, we get the straight scoop from Kevin Moffitt.

The highlights: Hookless flies. Your flies are rigged onto the tippett ahead of a special circle hook. When the fish takes the fly, the hookset buries the hook right into the corner of the fish’s jaw, every time.
